SLAVKA ZAMECNIKOVA can be heard as Musetta in Puccini's La Bohème at the Opéra de Paris from May 2nd, where she makes her house debut.

Kirill Petrenko is on a concert tour through Spain with the Berliner Philharmoniker. This year, the European concert on May 1st will be broadcast from the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona. The program includes works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Valentin Silvestrov, and Tōru Takemitsu. Further concerts in Madrid and Zaragoza will follow.

TARA ERRAUGHT makes her role debut as Alice Ford in "Falstaff" at the Hamburg State Opera. This is her second role debut of the season at the State Opera. Fiordiligi ( Cosi fan tutte ) in February/March 2023 will be her second soprano role at the opera.

BOGDAN TALOS sings Caronte in Monteverdi's “L'Orfeo” and Count Rodolfo in Bellini's “La Sonnambula” at the Semperoper in Dresden.

ALEXANDER SODDY returns to the Vienna State Opera for the third time this season, conducting Bizet's "Carmen" in a production by Calixto Bieito. Mezzo-soprano EVE-MAUD HUBEAUX performs the title role.

This season, Simone Young returns to the Met as guest conductor for Strauss's great Viennese comedy "Der Rosenkavalier." Among the performers are soprano Lise Davidsen as the aging Marschallin, mezzo-soprano Samantha Hankey as her lover Octavian, and bass Günther Groissböck as the grumpy Baron Ochs.
