Eun Sun Kim makes her debut at the Teatro alla Scala with "La Bohème"

“To mark the 100th anniversary of Franco Zeffirelli's birth, the Teatro alla Scala once again presents its classic production of La bohème, a piece of theater history first performed in 1963 under the baton of Herbert von Karajan and regularly repeated since then. Today, the production is an essential element of the Teatro alla Scala's identity. Conductor Eun Sun Kim will make her debut at the Milan Opera House.” (Source: La Scala )
Ms. Kim is Music Director of the San Francisco Opera, where this season her responsibilities include the world premiere of John Adams' Antony and Cleopatra, as well as productions of La traviata, Madama Butterfly , and Dialogues des Carmelites .
