ALEXANDER SODDY returns to the Vienna State Opera for the third time this season, conducting Bizet's "Carmen" in a production by Calixto Bieito. Mezzo-soprano EVE-MAUD HUBEAUX will sing the title role before making her State Opera debut as Mère Marie in the new production of " Les dialogues des carmelites" beginning May 21.
