Philippe Jordan conducts Haydn's The Creation with the Boston Symphony Orchestra

PHILIPPE JORDAN

BOSTON SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA

CINCINNATI SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA

Philippe Jordan returns to the Boston Symphony Orchestra to conduct Haydn's The Creation in Symphony Hall, featuring soloists Louise Alder, Bogdan Volkov, and David Steffens, as well as the Tanglewood Festival Chorus, as part of the orchestra's two-week "Creation" focus. This follows his engagements in Boston in 2022 and 2024, when The Boston Musical Intelligencer hailed a "truly magnificent Pathétique." Jordan will then conduct the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra in Music Hall with an all-Strauss program: Death and Transfiguration, the Oboe Concerto with solo oboist Dwight Parry, and Also sprach Zarathustra.

5th/6th/7th Nov., SYMPHONY HALL, BOSTON

21st/22nd Nov., MUSIC HALL, CINCINNATI
