ORCHESTRA PHILHARMONIQUE DE RADIO FRANCE
EUROPEAN TOUR
On his first tour as Music Director of the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, Jaap van Zweden leads the orchestra, together with Renaud and Gautier Capuçon, to five European cities. In Basel, Cologne, Essen, and Vienna, the brothers join forces for Brahms' Double Concerto in A minor, while Gautier Capuçon performs Dvořák's Cello Concerto in B minor at the Concertgebouw Amsterdam; each program concludes with Berlioz's Symphonie fantastique. Van Zweden, who took up his post in September, will also conduct both programs on November 4 and 14 at the Auditorium de Radio France in Paris, the orchestra's home.
