MAHLER'S SYMPHONY NO. 2 IN C MINOR "RESURRECTION"

This autumn, Maria Bengtsson is dedicating herself to one of the great transcendent works of the concert repertoire, performing Mahler's Symphony No. 2 with the London Symphony Orchestra and Sir Antonio Pappano. The tour began on September 3 in Ljubljana, where Bengtsson appeared with mezzo-soprano Noa Beinart, the orchestra and the Kaunas State Choir at the Ljubljana Festival. Later in September, the tour continues to Japan before concluding in London, where Mahler's Second will be the centerpiece of the LSO's 2026/27 season opening performances at the Barbican Hall on October 18 and 22.
