Emmanuel Tjeknavorian will conduct the Los Angeles Philharmonic in his Hollywood Bowl debut on July 30. The program includes Khachaturian's Gayane Suite No. 3 , Tchaikovsky's Variations on a Rococo Theme, Op. 33 , and Mussorgsky's Pictures at an Exhibition .

This significant US debut marks the crowning achievement of an exceptional 2025/26 season for Tjeknavorian. Earlier in the season, he made another important debut in the United States with the National Symphony Orchestra in Washington, D.C. , where he conducted three solo concertos. Beethoven -programs at the Kennedy Center . Critics praised the young conductor's confident leadership, noting that he "knows exactly what he's doing," while the orchestra played with "verve, enthusiasm, and precision" under his direction.

The performance at the Hollywood Bowl crowns a season full of international success. Tjeknavorian has conducted renowned ensembles such as the Orchestra Sinfonica Nazionale della RAI Torino, the Malmö Symphony Orchestra, the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra, the Orchestra della Toscana, the Dresden Philharmonic, the Graz Philharmonic, and the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra.

In addition to his symphonic engagements, the season also marked two important operatic debuts . He conducted Verdi's Un ballo in maschera for the first time at the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino and subsequently took over the musical direction of Mozart's Le nozze di Figaro at the Teatro dell'Opera di Roma .
