The Valkyrie at the Opéra national de Paris

On November 11, 2025, Richard Wagner's Die Walküre will premiere at the Opéra Bastille – directed by Calixto Bieito and conducted by Pablo Heras-Casado .

This top-class ensemble unites outstanding Wagnerian interpreters: Elza van den Heever as Sieglinde, Iain Paterson as Wotan, and Eve-Maud Hubeaux as Fricka. Together they unfold the emotional and mythical tensions of this great music drama between love, guilt, and divine power.

The production runs from November 11th to 30th, 2025, on a total of seven evenings at the Opéra Bastille and offers an intense operatic experience for an international audience with French and English surtitles.
