MAY 24, LONDON SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA More

ANJA KAMPE will perform at the Barbican Centre on May 24th with the London Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Sir Simon Rattle, singing Brünnhilde in a concert performance of excerpts from Wagner's Götterdämmerung.

Her Brünnhilde was widely celebrated – among other things for the “magnificent radiance of a truly dramatic soprano based on a firm, healthy low foundation” as well as for a “great, captivating voice and sensitive acting”.

Kampe continues her Wagner-focused season in the summer, taking on the role of Kundry in a concert performance of Parsifal at the Budapest Wagner Days 2026. She then joins ARSIS artists Jaap van Zweden, Iain Paterson, and Kwangchul Youn for a concert performance of Tristan und Isolde with the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France. The concert will take place on July 11 at the Radio France Occitanie Montpellier Festival.
