Tara Erraught sings Madama Cortese in Il viaggio a Reims at the Salzburg Whitsun Festival; the premiere is on May 22. With a top-class cast including Cecilia Bartoli, the production will continue at the Salzburg Festival in the summer, opening on August 5.

Erraught is celebrated for her "focused, nuanced and colorful soprano" and praised for her ability to create "lyrical intimacy as masterfully as dramatic outbursts" in her interpretations of famous operatic characters.

Further performances are planned as part of the Salzburg Festival from August 5th to 16th, 2026.

In June, Erraught will also tour with the Welsh National Opera, performing Vaughan Williams' Songs of Travel in concerts in England and Wales from June 5th.
