Michaela Schuster will take on the role of Herodias in Salome at the Palau de les Arts in Valencia.

The premiere will take place on April 25th; alongside her, Vida Miknevičiūtė, John Daszak and other artists will sing.

Schuster has already performed the role with great success at renowned opera houses such as the Royal Opera House Covent Garden, the Zurich Opera House, and the Vienna State Opera. In previous performances, she was praised for "her opulent voice," which was said to "perfectly complement her conflicted temperament."

Further performances, under the musical direction of James Gaffigan, will take place on April 29th, as well as on May 3rd, 6th and 9th.
