Annette Dasch interprets Robert Schumann's Frauenliebe und -leben together with the pianist Wolfram Rieger in an impressive three-part opera evening at the Hamburg State Opera.
The song cycle is followed by performances of Bartók's Duke Bluebeard's Castle and Zemlinsky's A Florentine Tragedy, which Tobias Kratzer brings together in a new production and combines into a continuous narrative about love, betrayal and social constraints.
Annette Dasch can be seen in another performance on May 15th.
