Thomas Guggeis conducts the premiere of Tannhäuser at the Oper Frankfurt - Magnus Dietrich sings Walther - Erik van Heyningen sings Biterolf

Thomas Guggeis, highly acclaimed for his sensational Wagner interpretations in Berlin, New York and Santa Fe, will be in his position as General Music Director of the Oper Frankfurt will conduct his first new Wagner production at the theatre with Tannhäuser. The cast includes the young, up-and-coming Tenor MAGNUS DIETRICH as Walther von der Vogelweide and the American baritone ERIK VAN HEYNINGEN as Biterolf appear in these roles for the first time.
