VERDI'S MACBETH

Louisa Proske opens the Metropolitan Opera's 2026/27 season with a new production of Verdi's Macbeth . This production marks the first new staging of the work at the Met in twenty years and also Proske's debut at the house. Yannick Nézet-Séguin conducts, and the sets are by Jon Bausor. Quinn Kelsey and Lise Davidsen make their Met debuts as Macbeth and Lady Macbeth, respectively, alongside Freddie De Tommaso as Macduff and Ryan Speedo Green as Banquo.
