SLÁVKA ZÁMECNIKOVÁ makes role debut as Gilda in “Rigoletto” at the Opéra National de Paris
Slovak soprano Slávka Zámecniková will make her eagerly anticipated role debut as Gilda in Claus Guth’s production of Verdi’s “Rigoletto” at the Opéra National de Paris in the 2024/25 season. This new milestone marks a significant return to the Paris Opera, where she previously made an acclaimed debut as Musetta in “La Bohème”. Andrea Battistoni conducts these performances.
Recognised as one of the most exciting talents of her generation, Zámecniková has captivated audiences at leading houses including the Vienna State Opera and the Berlin State Opera, and the International May Festival in Wiesbaden. Her role debut as Gilda stands out as a key highlight of the upcoming season.

In addition to her Paris engagement, the 2024/25 season sees Slávka Zámecniková appear as Ilia in “Idomeneo” at both Theater an der Wien and the Berlin State Opera, make her house debut as Musetta at the Semperoper Dresden, and return to the Vienna State Opera as Pamina in “Die Zauberflöte” and Susanna in “Le Nozze di Figaro”. She also performs Daria in “Prima la Mamma!” at Deutsche Oper am Rhein.
Her recent triumphs include her debut as Donna Anna under Daniel Barenboim, the title role in “Poppea” in both Vienna and Berlin, and standout performances as Contessa, Norina, Nannetta, Micaëla, Sophie and Servilia. Zámecniková’s artistry continues to earn international acclaim across both opera and concert stages.
