Thomas Guggeis takes over the second RING cycle from Daniel Barenboim at the Berlin State Opera

Daniel Barenboim has had to withdraw from conducting the new production of Richard Wagner's THE RING OF THE NIBELUNG, directed by Dmitri Tcherniakov, due to health reasons. Christian Thielemann will conduct the first and third cycles. The second cycle will be conducted by Thomas Guggeis. ( SOURCE: Berlin State Opera )
