SIMONE YOUNG and ALEXANDER SODDY continue the new production of “The Ring of the Nibelung” and ELZA VAN DEN HEEVER sings Sieglinde at the Teatro alla Scala and conducts “DIE WALKÜRE”.

“The production will be directed by David McVicar , who is internationally regarded as one of the most renowned opera directors of our time and has already staged a wide repertoire of works at La Scala – from Cavalli to Berlioz and Cilea to Verdi.

The ensemble of singers offers important Wagnerian voices, including Michael Volle as Wotan in the entire cycle, Camilla Nylund as Brünnhilde and Klaus Florian Vogt as Siegmund and Siegfried.” (Source: Teatro alla Scala )

Production will continue with “Siegfried” in June 2025 and “Götterdämmerung” in February 2026, as well as two complete cycles in March 2026.
