Knowing the Score premieres in Great Britain

The film " Knowing the Score " is a portrait of conductor Simone Young. The feature-length documentary (directed by Janine Hosking and produced by Margie Bryant) features archive footage, interviews, and rehearsal scenes, offering a glimpse into life behind the scenes. Cate Blanchett, executive producer of the film, says, "Simone Young is one of the world's most significant and groundbreaking conductors, and it is a great privilege to be a small part of this insightful documentary chronicling her life and work." The biopic about an inspiring woman who rose to the top in a man's world with her wit, determination, sense of humor, and baton will premiere at the Barbican Cinemas in London on September 20, 2023.
