New production of Wozzeck at the Vienna State Opera under the direction of Philippe Jordan, Anja Kampe as Marie

Starting March 21, 2022, Anja Kampe will sing the role of Marie in five performances of Alban Berg's Wozzeck at the Vienna State Opera. Philippe Jordan will assume the musical direction and say of the composer, "What makes Alban Berg one of the greatest opera composers of the 20th century is his fascinating talent for the stage and his incredible theatrical thinking. Not only in terms of setting a text to music, but also in terms of his sense of structure and composition." (Source: Vienna State Opera)
