Mozart: lux æterna is the motto of this anniversary Mozart Week, "we celebrate the eternal light of Mozart," explains Rolando Villazón, director of the Mozart Week.

2026 is a year with two major Mozart anniversaries: It marks the 270th anniversary of Mozart's birth and 70 years since the Mozart Festival was founded in 1956.

Roberto González-Monjas conducts the Mozarteum Orchestra Salzburg; alongside Magnus Dietrich as Tamino, Paul Schweinester will be seen as Manostatos.
