The American conductor KAREN KAMENSEK makes her Royal Opera House Covent Garden debut with Tosca. Grammy-winning conductor Karen Kamensek works both in the opera house and on the concert stage and is a passionate advocate for composers of the 20th and 21st centuries.

This season, she makes several major debuts, demonstrating her remarkable versatility as a musician. From Puccini's Tosca with London's Royal Opera House to the world premiere of Adam Schoenberg's Cool Cat with the Los Angeles Philharmonic to Prokofiev's Piano Concerto No. 2 with the Seattle Symphony and soloist Jan Lisiecki, each debut showcases her unique ability to deftly navigate a diverse repertoire.
