Jennifer Holloway makes her debut at the Zurich Opera House as Leonora in Beethoven's "Fidelio"
The American soprano JENNIFER HOLLOWAY has established herself internationally in recent years as one of the leading sopranos in the youth dramatic field and will be singing for the first time at the Zurich Opera House, where she will portray the role of Leonore in Beethoven's Fidelio.
Performances are on 21/25 January and 2/8/15 February
Highlights of recent seasons include Salome at the State Operas in Vienna and Berlin as well as at the Deutsche Oper Berlin, Chrysothemis, Tannhäuser-Elisabeth and her role debuts as Sieglinde (Walküre), Senta (The Flying Dutchman), Fidelio-Leonore and Ellen Orford (Peter Grimes) at the State Opera Hamburg, Cassandre (Les Troyens) and Senta at the Bavarian State Opera, Sieglinde concert version with the Orchestre de Paris under Jaap van Zweden and in the Vienna Konzerthaus under Joana Mallwitz, the title role of César Franck's Hulda in Paris, Grete in a new production of Schreker's Der ferne Klang at the Oper Frankfurt , her role debut as Lohengrin-Elsa at the Leipzig Opera, Composer (Ariadne auf Naxos) at the Teatro Colon Buenos Aires, Cassandre in Les Troyens and Salome at the Semperoper Dresden .
