Annette Dasch can be seen in the world premiere of Cinderella's Dream in the Volksoper Vienna
Soprano Annette Dasch will perform in the world premiere of "Cinderella's Dream" at the Volksoper Vienna the role of Ida Grünwald — a central element of the new fairy-tale operetta by Martina Eisenreich and Axel Ranisch. The work playfully combines Johann Strauss's unfinished ballet fragment with a contemporary reinterpretation of the Cinderella fairy tale, tracing the story across several timelines from Vienna in 1899 to the present day. The premiere takes place on November 29, 2025 , with further performances on December 4, 7, 12, 15, 21, and 29, 2025 , as well as on January 4, 2026, at the Volksoper Vienna. Together with Dasch, a top-class ensemble creates an extraordinary version of the fairy tale, in which music, dance, and narration merge. With her impressive presence and vocal depth, Annette Dasch embodies the poetic power and emotional depth of this new piece.
