ARSIS welcomes Anastasiya Taratorkina as a new artist in the general management
ANASTASIYA TARATORKINA
NEW REPRESENTATION
ARSIS Artist Management is pleased to welcome soprano Anastasiya Taratorkina to its artist portfolio.
Since the 2024/25 season, Taratorkina has been a member of the ensemble at the Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe and has established herself as one of the most promising young lyric coloratura sopranos of her generation. Her repertoire includes roles such as Gilda, Susanna, Pamina, Sophie, and Nannetta. Guest engagements have taken her to the Zurich Opera and the Semperoper Dresden , where she made a celebrated house debut as Eurydice in Monteverdi's L'Orfeo .
Taratorkina gained international attention when she won both First Prize and the Audience Prize at the 70th ARD International Music Competition in Munich. Born in Novosibirsk and now living in Germany, she was previously a member of the ensemble at the Hessian State Theatre Wiesbaden, where she sang the title role in the world premiere of Oryx and Crake .
On the concert stage, she has performed at venues including the Tonhalle Zurich and the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, as well as with the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra. She has collaborated with conductors such as Alan Gilbert. Critics quickly took notice of her. Bachtrack praised her "crystal-clear high notes, brilliant coloratura, convincingly precise phrasing, and her purest tone," while Das Opernglas hailed her as a "sensational, flexible lyric coloratura soprano."
Her 2026/27 season reflects this stylistic diversity. In Karlsruhe, she sings Gilda in Rigoletto – a role particularly close to her heart – as well as Alphise in Rameau's Les Boréades , Zdenka in Arabella , Adele in Die Fledermaus , and Lauretta in Puccini's Il trittico . She also returns to the Leipzig Opera as Susanna in Le nozze di Figaro .
